So helpful. I have been feeling shame in feeling frightened. I work for the NHS and there is a culture of not allowing or admitting feeling fear. This reminds me that fear is ok and normal. Thank you Friend.
I am so sorry your work culture is like this, Ali :(. That’s so unfortunate because the more we repress our feelings, the stronger they tend to manifest themselves, usually in unhelpful ways. I am so glad you can articulate your fear. I am afraid, too. There is no shame. It’s so normal and understandable in a time like this.
