I’ve been writing about love for close to three years now, and here is what I have figured out so far:
Love is
Saying no,
Saying yes,
Dancing exuberantly,
Driving money changers from the temple with whips.
Staying silent,
Shouting down the Wall of Jericho,
Walking way,
Staying put,
Reaching out,
Pushing away,
Giving more,
Ceasing to give,
Walking in forests,
Secluding in one’s room,
Always hoping,
Giving up,
Laughter,
Anger,
Peace,
Thunder.
Love is Substance
And the emptiness in between.
